Brentford tailors its away kit with Kingsman's own Savile Row shop
Director Matthew Vaughn and Huntsman & Sons, the real tailor behind the Kingsman films, designed Brentford's navy-and-cream pinstripe 2026-27 away kit.
Brentford launched its 2026-27 away kit on July 28 with a genuinely unusual collaborator: H. Huntsman & Sons, the Savile Row tailoring house that plays the Kingsman agents' headquarters in the film series. The shirt runs navy and cream pinstripe, with a crew neck in cream trim, a monochrome crest, and a single Brentford bee on the upper back neck, made from recycled polyester.
This isn't a licensing tie-in bolted onto an existing template. Sir Matthew Vaughn, who directs the Kingsman films and is also a Brentford shareholder, worked directly with Huntsman & Sons on the design, then directed a campaign film showing striker Igor Thiago transitioning from a bespoke suit into the new kit, with further campaign content shot at the tailor's own premises.
"I am a big fan of the Kingsman films, so seeing some of that world brought into our new away kit has been pretty cool," Thiago said. The campaign also featured Vitaly Janelt, Dango Ouattara, and Antoni Milambo from the men's side, plus Wiktoria Kiszkis and Rhian Cleverly from the women's team.
The kit went on sale online July 28, with in-store availability at The Hive Superstore the following day.
For a mid-table Premier League club, this is a rare case of a kit collaboration built on an actual working relationship rather than a brand-of-the-moment collab, and it's the kind of shirt that will likely mean more to a fashion-minded collector than a results-minded one.
