Who we are
Jersey Grail (jerseygrail.com) is operated by TNC Brand Strategy BV, registered in the Netherlands (KvK 93687133), which is the data controller for personal data processed on this site. Contact: dennis@thenextcorner.com.
What we collect and why
- Waitlist and claim requests. When you join the waitlist we store the email address, optional handle, and optional message you submit, to manage early access and contact you before we open. Legal basis: consent.
- Email updates. If you opt in to kit drops and story updates, we store your email address and the source of the signup. You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: consent.
- Outbound retailer clicks. When you follow a link to a retailer we record the jersey, the retailer, a hash of the destination, and a short-lived anonymous reference derived from technical request data. This is cookie-free and not tied to your identity. Legal basis: legitimate interest (understanding demand for jerseys).
- Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand what visitors read. Analytics storage stays off unless you accept it in the banner. Legal basis: consent.
- Technical logs. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Where it goes
Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon) and, only with your consent, processed by Google for analytics. We do not sell personal data. Retailers you click through to receive no personal data from us.
How long we keep it
Waitlist and email records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them, or until the early-access program ends. Click records are anonymous and kept as aggregate demand data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email dennis@thenextcorner.com and we will act on it. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
The operating entity for Jersey Grail is expected to change to a dedicated company; this notice will be updated when that happens.
